If you’re visiting my project website, you’re probably most interested in science. So I’ll stick to the basics.

I’m married to Søren, with whom I have two small kids. When I’m not at home, I’m most likely to be found at AU. I’ve been here since 2006, and in 2009 I finished by BSc degree in molecular biology. In October 2010 I started an experimental 4+4 PhD at AU at the Institute of Molecular biology and Genetics. Just before going on maternity leave for the second time, I passed my qualification exam and was awarded a MSc degree. I returned to AU in autumn 2014 to finish my experimental PhD, but in January 2015 I was allowed to finish my PhD by doing a theoretical project in the Visualization Lab.
